The Hub

The Hub is a new 509 bed mixed-use student oriented housing community located between the University of Calgary and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), making it a short walk to class for students at both schools. A walk score suggests a seven minute bike ride to the heart of the U of C campus and a two minute bike ride to McMahon Stadium. The suite style units come complete with contemporary furniture, including a Full XL bed, a kitchen or kitchenette, desk, electronic keys and high-speed internet.
Having opened in Sept 2020, the fully amenitized building fulfills socialization, fitness and functional needs with spacious, and state of the art study lounges, a dedicated business centre and a resort quality gym. As part of the fulsome lifestyle, there is a communal kitchen for our larger get-togethers, and on the ground floor, you will be thrilled to have access to the welcoming outdoor patios belonging to our multiple restaurants.
Underground and surface parking are available, or alternatively, there is convenient access to public transit in all directions. As well, on site-management is present to help satisfy your needs and wants.
In addition to the excellent location between these two pre-eminent schools, The Hub is also just down the street from the Foothills Hospital and a short ride to the Alberta Children’s Hospital. It is for these reasons that there is also two floors full of medical and other offices.
